As a Sr. Distribution Manager at Velocity, you will partner with the VP of Distribution in achieving and executing Distribution strategy and supporting the execution of strategic initiatives through thought partnership and collaboration on innovative solutions and owning the roll out of identified changes and initiatives. You will work across business units to spearhead these projects and push initiatives forward to achieve metrics and deadlines. In support of the VP of Distribution, you will work closely with key external producers to provide exceptional Velocity brand experience, solve problems and concerns, and drive forward identified solutions.
In addition to this role's responsibilities, you will play a key part in championing the brand and vision of Velocity. Serving as the Sr. Distribution Manager, you can set the tone for excitement and opportunity of the organization and bring that across the other departments. It will be important for you to communicate a positive message of Velocity, turning difficulties into opportunities and encouraging others to be "all-in" for Velocity.

The core responsibilities in this role:
·Partner with the VP of Distribution and fellow Manager(s) to build out robust distribution strategies.
·Compile and understand market feedback and research to understand what partners value and translate into actionable business strategies.
·Serve as the Distribution relationship partner for MMB Underwriters on specific producer plans for growth and determine if the Distribution strategy is executed successful, and if not, solutioning the changes or adjustments necessary.
·Building and strengthening relationships at all parts of the chain – wholesale to consumer.
·Supports VP of Distributions external relationships and external efforts
·Staying aware of market trends and competition and creating actionable strategies / changes within Velocity to stay competitive.
·Utilize feedback and knowledge of customers to continue increasing Velocity’s value to our external partners.
·5+ years’ related experience in Commercial Insurance Distribution

The target salary range for this position is $116,960.00 - $146,200.00 annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
