We have an exciting opportunity to join our newly created BOP team onshore in CFC’s USA business as an Underwriting Product Manager. As a BOP Underwriting Product Manager at CFC USA, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping our Business Owners Policy (BOP) product.
About the role
Your core mission will be to evaluate, underwrite, and price new and renewal business, ensuring every decision aligns with our high standards and appetite for risk.
You’ll:
- Review and assess BOP insurance applications, analysing financial data, claims history, and risk exposures to set appropriate terms, conditions, and pricing.
- Ensure all underwriting activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with team members and management to achieve business targets and uphold service excellence.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with brokers and clients, negotiating and communicating underwriting decisions with clarity and professionalism.
- Play an active role in business development, attending key meetings and industry events to expand our broker network.
- Develop and update underwriting guidelines, assist with regulatory filings, and translate market trends into actionable strategies.
- Stay ahead of industry, economic, and regulatory changes, continuously enhancing your underwriting expertise.

- Experience in Business Owners Policies and similar SME packaged products.
