We’re thrilled to offer an incredible opportunity to join Phoenix Group as a Junior Quantitative Platform Engineer within our Quantitative Engineering team in the Retirement Solutions and Asset Management (RSAM) function.
This is your chance to work in a fast-paced, greenfield environment where you’ll help shape the quantitative platform that powers analytics across Phoenix. Rather than building the calculations themselves, your focus will be on designing and delivering the technology foundation that enables quants to run models and tools at scale. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies such as AWS services, Python, Beacon, data integration, and UI layers, to create robust, high-performing platforms that deliver real business impact.
You’ll collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define and implement strategies for embedding quant tools, reports, and applications that provide a single source of truth for analytics across asset management portfolios. We release quickly and frequently, and you’ll be empowered to deliver solutions that matter from day one.
We’re Phoenix Group, we’re a long-term savings and retirement business. We offer a range of products across our market-leading brands, Standard Life, SunLife, Phoenix Life and ReAssure. Around 1 in 5 people in the UK has a pension with us. We’re a FTSE 100 organisation that is tackling key issues such as transitioning our portfolio to net zero by 2050, and we’re not done yet.
If you’re passionate about technology, eager to learn, and ready to make a difference, this is the perfect role to grow your skills and career.
