Role Description
This full-time, on-site role of Business Development Manager is based in Walnut Creek, CA. The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving profitable business growth by building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. This role involves developing strategies to expand market presence, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver client-centric solutions. Regular reporting on sales performance and market trends is also required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, client relationship management, and strategic planning
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and sales skills
- Knowledge of insurance products or experience in the insurance or financial sector is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
- Ability to analyze market trends, identify new opportunities, and create growth strategies
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
- Willingness to work on-site in Walnut Creek, CA, and travel to meet with clients as needed
