Crum & Forster’s Intern opportunity is designed to provide college students with hands-on exposure to the insurance industry. By providing challenging assignments that offer real-world experience in applying business education to short-term projects, students gain first-hand industry knowledge and receive valuable on-the-job training.
What you will do for C&F:
- Designed for students with varying majors and backgrounds
- Position may be based in our corporate headquarters in Morristown, NJ, Jersey City, NJ, or Eatontown, NJ or it may be a hybrid/remote option, depending on the needs of the host business unit
- Full-time and Part-time internships available early-June through mid-August
- Access to various e-learning and instructor-led courses
- Potential participation in Community service opportunities.
What you will bring to C&F:
- Current college student working towards a degree in an accredited college or university
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organization, time management and planning skills are essential
- Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & Power Point)
- A passion for learning
- An innovative, entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to take ownership and see tasks through to completion
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities

Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $15.00 to a maximum of $25.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
