Join our team! Successful and leading title insurance agency is seeking an experienced Commercial Escrow Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least 7 years of experience in a similar role. This position is responsible for handling large volumes of files for National Commercial transactions. Attention to detail, great communication skills (verbal & written) great organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for clients, attorneys and sales reps for commercial transactions.
- Interact and coordinate with industry contacts such as realtors, underwriters, brokers, buyers, and sellers and other involved parties to facilitate proper pre and post-closing procedures.
- Review title commitment, lender instructions, purchase and sale agreements to be sure the duties and responsibilities are clear to facilitate closing
- Work with buyers/sellers and lenders to clear and close National Transactions.
- Comply with all state and federal laws governing escrow transactions and escrow accounts
- Monitor progress in compliance with all terms and conditions of purchase contracts
- Coordinate the issuance of title policies with title examiner
- Assemble and deliver closing statements to buyers, sellers, brokers, agents, and lenders
- Disburse escrow funds accurately and complete administrative tasks such as reporting
- Review closing instructions to determine conditions that must be met prior to closing and funding.
- Accurately disburse funds and ensure recording of necessary documents in a timely manner.
- Working closely with clients to accomplish a closed transaction in a timely, efficient and error-free manner.
Requirements:
- Candidates with experience and strong knowledge of Title Insurance are encouraged to apply.
- 7+ years' experience
- Must be licensed as an Escrow Officer.
- Experience with tax and real estate concepts preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of SoftPro Select a plus
- Great time management skills
- Outstanding work ethic with the ability to work in both team oriented and self-directed environments.
- Detail-oriented and professional; able to handle confidential information.

- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
