About the role
Are you looking to take the next step in your career? Due to an internal move in the team, we have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Pensions Co-ordinator to join our Group Pensions team on a 2-year fixed term contract. As Pensions Co-ordinator you’ll develop your expertise and play a key role in supporting the smooth and effective management of pension arrangements for the Company, Trustees, and Scheme Members. With plenty of opportunities to learn and grow, this role is perfect for someone with strong analytical and communication skills who is eager to build a career in pensions.
In this role you will play a part in the governance of the pension scheme by co-ordinating meetings, drafting papers, taking meeting minutes and recording and progressing actions for Pension Trustee meetings. You’ll manage pension queries to the mailbox, providing support to members, Trustees, and stakeholders (both internal and external). You’ll analyse and interpret pensions data, ensuring compliance with Scheme Rules and Pensions legislation. You’ll enhance communications, delivering clear and engaging pension updates to scheme members and manage risk and compliance, maintaining the Scheme’s business plan and governance frameworks. You’ll build strong relationships with third-party pension providers, Trustees, and internal teams and oversee financials, reviewing invoices and monitoring expenditure to ensure effective asset management. You will also have the opportunity to help deliver key pension projects, driving improvements and best practices.
About you
You’re an analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving. You have some experience in UK pensions—including Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes and you’re ready to take on a role where you can make a real impact. You enjoy working with complex information, analysing data, and ensuring processes run smoothly. Experience within governance is a plus, but a willingness to learn is just as important.

- Excellent communication skills, you can explain technical concepts in a clear and engaging way, whether speaking with colleagues, stakeholders, or scheme members.
- Fantastic stakeholder engagement skills, you’re confident building relationships and working with multiple teams, from pension providers to internal teams.
- Strong organisational skills, you excel at prioritisation, keeping track of key tasks, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
