Responsible for analyzing CRC business processes to develop verifiable and reportable information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Analyze and report underwriter and supporting staff performance.
2. Collect and analyze data and reports for agents and carriers.
3. Develop tools (e.g., reports) to ensure the company remains within the boundaries of binding authority contracts, including but not limited to Wind aggregate limits
4. Create, update and maintain all RMS Catastrophe Modeling for CRC.
5. Identify opportunities to improve the modeling results of the company's property portfolios.
6. Manage all aspects of special projects including establishing deadlines, preparing and maintaining process flow charts, process procedures, and other documentation relating to assigned projects.
7. Design and prepare online and email reports and presentations based on analyzed data.
8. Support underwriters and office VPs as needed.
9. Prepare various daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management as needed.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in math, science or business
2. Possess in depth knowledge of underwriting and carrier processes
3. Excellent analytical skills
4. Deep knowledge of SQL and reporting tools such as LogiXML and SQL Service Integration Services (SSIS)
5. Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure
6. Strong verbal and written communications skills
7. Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization and with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds
8. Ability to work extended hours when necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's degree
2. Previous underwriting experience
