Position Summary
The Senior Brokerage Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing operational support to the brokerage team by efficiently handling day-to-day operational tasks such as document generation and maintenance. The role updates precise client information across systems and maintains organized records for compliance. They manage broker inquiries, deliver effective customer service through various channels, and offer support for ad-hoc business requests.
What will your job entail?
Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinates day-to-day activities within brokerage operation and works for the implementation and enhancement of operational procedures.
• Prepares cover letters as needed by the broker for marketing renewal business and provides essential administrative support in tasks.
• Administers and updates client information in all necessary systems accurately.
• Maintains well-organized technical documentation for client accounts, transactions, and relevant documentation, ensuring compliance with record-keeping regulations.
• Performs customer service functions by answering broker requests and questions by telephone, email, chat, or in person.
• Prepares and analyzes compliance reports associated with brokerage operations and collaborates with internal stakeholders to meet business requirements.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and ensures the coordinators are adhering to policies.
• Recognizes and mitigates operational risks, collaborating with risk management teams to implement control measures.
• Supports ad-hoc business requests and engages other coordinators as needed.
• Supports the coordinators on their deliverables and suggests ways to improve their performance.
Work Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Insurance Industry or Underwriting with a Bachelor’s degree.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Sales, and Risk Management preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
Licenses & Certifications:
• Prescribed: Minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses
• Preferred: Not Applicable

The target hourly rate range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00 per hour.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
