CRC Benefits is seeking a detail-oriented, process-driven New Business Quoting Manager to lead and optimize quoting and proposal functions in the Central South Region. This highly visible leadership role is responsible for managing a high-volume team of Quoting & Proposal Specialists to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality responses to group insurance RFPs. The ideal candidate will possess strong operational acumen, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of insurance quoting systems and carrier portals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead, mentor, and manage a regional team of Quoting & Proposal Specialists in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Hire, train, and develop team members, while establishing a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Create and enforce high standards for accuracy and timeliness in the RFP process.
- Develop and implement best practices and workflows that drive efficiency and consistency.
- Leverage internal quoting systems (CRQS) and external carrier portals to manage daily quoting activity.
- Ensure all quotes and proposals are delivered with precision to meet/exceed service level agreements.
- Collaborate with the Regional Vice President and Sales leadership to align operational support with strategic objectives.
- Monitor/analyze team performance data to identify trends, address gaps, and improve outcomes.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external carrier partners to resolve issues and streamline processes.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations or group insurance quoting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role required.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Strong familiarity with CRQS or similar quoting systems and multiple carrier proposal portals.
- Demonstrated success in managing and developing teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Process-oriented mindset with a focus on quality, consistency, and service delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
