We are looking for a finance analyst to join the team based in Mumbai, India.
At a high level, the responsibilities of the finance analyst includes:
- Performing journal entries and account reconciliations including identification and remediation of all issues in compliance with audit requirements
- Reconciliation of bank balances and the request of resultant settlements
- Participating in the monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing and reporting processes
- Participating in the internal and external audit process.
- Working closely with other functional areas (e.g. legal and regulatory, treasury, actuarial and reinsurance) to resolve issues and support achievement of business goals.
- Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements and ensure compliance with statutory guidance and regulatory deadlines.
- Collaborating with colleagues and initiate ideas to identify, design, and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintaining an understanding of the business, including regulatory and statutory requirements
