Position Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for independently managing a consultant’s book of business and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service across all aspects of account management. This role plays a key part in the renewal and marketing process, carrier negotiations, and coverage analysis. The Account Manager collaborates closely with brokers, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of client deliverables, while maintaining compliance with servicing standards and regulatory requirements. They also contribute to team development and operational efficiency through knowledge sharing and process improvement.
What will your job entail?
Job Responsibilities:
• Manages a consultant’s book of business independently, overseeing all aspects of account servicing including renewal preparation, marketing to carriers, negotiating terms and conditions, and coordinating with brokers to gather necessary information and documentation.
• Prepares and maintains accurate client documentation including proposals, binders, invoices, certificates, endorsements, and surplus lines filings, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conducts detailed coverage and rate analysis for both new and renewal business, collaborating with underwriters to ensure appropriate pricing and coverage enhancements, and proactively identifies opportunities for program improvements.
•Coordinates marketing efforts by identifying alternative carriers and assessing appetite with minimal direction, while maintaining strong relationships with brokers and carriers through regular communication and meetings.
•Supports team collaboration by assisting with training, sharing knowledge, and contributing to daily operations, while consistently applying and reinforcing RT ECP servicing standards across all client interactions.
Work Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in the Insurance industry, including Casualty & Auto liability.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Sales, and Risk Management preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
Licenses and Certifications:
• Prescribed: Minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses

The target salary range for this position is $72,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
