Position Summary
The Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for analyzing market trends, forecasting sales, and assisting in the development of marketing strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of the market, competitors, and customer behavior.
What will your job entail?
Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed market research to understand the latest trends. This includes studying consumer behavior, purchasing habits, and demographic factors that affect the market.
• Use statistical techniques to predict future sales. This involves analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and economic indicators.
• Assist in the creation of comprehensive marketing strategies based on data analysis. This includes identifying target audiences, setting marketing objectives, and determining the best ways to reach those audiences.
• Regularly monitor and analyze competitor products, sales, and marketing activities. This includes understanding their strengths and weaknesses to identify opportunities and threats.
• Analyze customer behavior to understand their needs and preferences. Use this information to suggest changes to marketing strategies to better target customers and meet their needs.
• Create detailed reports that provide insight into key data points. These reports should be easy to understand and provide actionable insights.
• Work closely with other teams (like sales, product development, and customer service) to implement marketing strategies. This includes sharing insights and collaborating on marketing campaigns.
• Monitor and track the performance of marketing campaigns. Use this data to make recommendations for improvements and to measure the return on investment (ROI) of marketing activities.
• Manage large databases of customer and market information. Use segmentation techniques to target specific groups for marketing campaigns.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to management. This includes creating clear and compelling presentations that effectively communicate the results of your analysis.
Work Experience and Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field with a minimum of 2 or 3 years of related experience within the Insurance Industry; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Licenses & Certifications:
· Certified Market Research Analyst (CMRA) is strongly preferred.

The target salary range for this position is $64,750.00 - $70,000.00 annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
