Position Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Head of Ratings and Strategic Advisory, ARCAS LLC, the primary mandate of the (AVP),(VP), Corporate & Industry Analytics will be to support Ratings and ratings Strategic Advisory and Ratings Agency Services with a focus on business development across the ARCAS platform.
How you'll contribute:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess insurance company capitalization and earnings to assess impacts of financial results on current credit ratings
- Manage ARCAS Strategic Advisory and Ratings Agency projects by delivering value-added insights on the financial condition and ratings position for clients and prospects while maintaining financial surveillance and strong knowledge of market issues.
- Provide recommendations to clients on business strategy and capital management
- Actively contributes to thought leadership, business development and execution across the three other pillars of ARCAS including: Investment Banking, Retrocession and Catastrophe Bonds
- Establish strong relationships with clients and prospects and collaborate effectively with Acrisure Re Broking and Analytic teams.
Requirements and Additional Skills:

- Strong Knowledge of the Property/Casualty Insurance Industry
- Advanced Analytic and Problem-Solving Skills
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Familiarity with Statutory & GAAP Accounting
- Client and Project Management Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Education and/or Experience:
- Mandatory University Graduate
- Direct Rating Agency Experience or Experience Working in Advisory Role
- Minimum of 10 years' Experience (VP); Minimum 3-5 years' Experience (AVP)
Other Qualifications:
- MBA or Advanced Degree a Plus
- FINRA licenses a plus: SIE, Series 7, Series 63, Series 79
