What You'll Be Doing
- Finance Inbound Change plays a pivotal role in driving and unblocking business-critical change initiatives that impact Finance from the wider business.
- This role ensures that Finance is effectively integrated into upstream change programmes, enabling timely delivery of strategic and regulatory outcomes.
- The Change Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve blockers, align priorities, and ensure Finance requirements are embedded early in the change lifecycle.
- Lead the resolution of blocked Finance inbound change requests, ensuring timely and effective delivery of business-critical initiatives.
- Act as a point of escalation for Finance-related dependencies and risks within wider business change programmes.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to unblock stalled initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Finance, Technology, and the wider business.
- Represent Finance in cross-functional forums to ensure visibility and prioritisation of inbound change impacts.
- Influence senior stakeholders to secure alignment and resources for Finance change delivery.
- Maintain oversight of the inbound change portfolio, tracking progress, risks, and interdependencies.
- Provide regular updates to the Head of Finance Inbound Change and other senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and change management standards.
- Ensure Finance inbound change initiatives align with broader Finance transformation and strategic objectives.
- Support the development of Finance’s change roadmap and input into enterprise-wide planning cycles.
Our hybrid model offers a 'best of both worlds' approach. When you'll be in the office depends on your role and team, but colleagues spend at least 2 days a week in the office
What You'll Need
- Proven experience in leading change initiatives within Finance or a related function.
- Strong understanding of Finance processes, systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, particularly at senior levels.
- Ability to navigate complex organisational structures and drive resolution across multiple teams.
- Experience in portfolio management, change governance, and risk mitigation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a delivery-focused mindset.
- Professional qualification in Finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Change Management (e.g., Prosci, APMG).
- Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
