Summary:
The Vendor Management Commercial Manager is responsible for the management of the team that opens commercial orders and places real estate title search requests with a national abstractor panel. Directly involved in establishing and maintaining relationships with external vendors, as well as overseeing the internal Vendor Management team, to ensure that title insurance products and services meet quality standards, align with company objectives, and are delivered on time.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of order entry and Vendor Management staff that open title and settlement orders, review property details and request title search products from search vendors
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships and consistently evaluate performance
• Resolve issues promptly and ensure that the Vendor Management team meets quality control expectations
• Recruit, vet, and on-board new search vendors to ensure adequate coverage in all states
• Negotiate vendor costs via pricing agreements and individual orders as necessary
• Review new orders for accuracy and completion
• Review commercial and residential property information to confirm parcel, property tax and vesting information
• Ensure that the Vendor Management team meets or exceeds service level standards for title search order placement and receipt
• Directly oversee the proper setup of large, complex commercial portfolio files
• Collaborate with the KV Production team to ensure that all required documents are obtained from search vendors in order to issue title reports and commitments
• Cross-departmental collaboration with other management teams to routinely evaluate workflows and streamline operations across the company
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, carrier guidelines and internal procedures
• Act as liaison for abstractors, branches, carriers, and internal departments
Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience in the title insurance industry
• 5+ plus years of experience in title examination, commitment production or title vendor management
• Knowledge of SoftPro Select a plus
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work in both team oriented and self-directed environments.
• Detail-oriented and professional; able to handle confidential information.
• High level of accountability

• Creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

The annual base salary for this position is $70,00 - $85,000.
