This training will prepare you for your claims adjuster’s license, recognized by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).

What can you expect from this role?
- Reporting to the Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for investigating and settling automobile claims from A-Z.
- Provide prompt, courteous, accurate and fair claims service to all customers, internal and external
- Manage auto telephone claims until resolution
- Fully explain the claim process to all customers in a way they will easily understand
- Confirm whether claims are covered under a customer’s policy
- Ensure all claims are promptly investigated.
- Work with the customer and preferred vendors to determine the best way to resolve the claim.
- Maintain detailed file records by entering pertinent data into the appropriate systems
- Process claims payments within your authority level
- Initiate salvage and subrogation procedures on assigned claims.
- Achieve the targeted number of assigned claims per year, while living our core values and meeting competencies.
hat do you bring to the role?
- AEC or College Diploma is needed
- Individuals who are in the process of obtaining their insurance license will also be considered for this position.
- Experience handling automobile with a good understanding of terminology and auto policies
- Previous customer service is a definite asset.
- Excellent keyboarding skills and ability to navigate through numerous screens and systems quickly and easily.
- Professional, friendly, and courteous in all interactions, whether with customers or co-workers.
- You perform well in a busy operation and remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual (French and English).
High degree of proficiency with English and French is required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada.
Salary Range: $43,700 - $80,500
