The Large Group Account Manager is responsible for developing long lasting partnerships with our customers and providing a top-tier customer experience while managing accounts and services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
- Interact between client, broker, and carrier to ensure a smooth sales and service transition.
- Gather all information and prepare presentations for clients.
- Periodically travel to client locations to assist and present in strategy and enrollment meetings.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Establish proactive communication to ensure their understanding of quality and service issues and develop/maintain customer loyalty.
- Research and respond to questions.
- Maintain a good understanding of the Company’s products and processes and how agents/brokers interact with these products and processes.
- Suggest or recommend products or services that would best complement the existing benefit package.
- Work with our carrier and internal contacts to get competitive pricing on these products and try to implement.
- Maintain and updates client benefit information in our internal systems.
- Coordinate any client policy changes with other departments.
- Resolve escalated issues for clients.
- Physical requirements include sitting, frequently speaking and hearing, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, crawling, kneeling and the ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- Occasional long, irregular hours.
- Occasional vehicular travel.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Associates degree or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years related experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- State Life & Health License preferred.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Working knowledge of group ancillary products and medical products.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external personnel, both verbally and in writing.
- Read and comprehend job-related documents.
- Research and resolve problems with carriers and brokers.
- Work in and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Keeps abreast of current trends and regulatory issues surrounding benefit plan design and administration and pass them to brokers and/or clients as necessary.
- Ability to use a PC, computer terminal and/or telephone.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficient in common web browsers such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
The annual base salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000.
