OverviewSee yourself in our team:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Officer to manage cash flow operations, and ensure accurate reconciliation of financial transactions. As the main point of contact for various business areas, you will oversee and maintain bank accounts, ensuring all receipts are processed correctly and outflows comply with company policies and approvals.

How you'll make an impactOn a day to day basis you will:
- Process manual payments, expense reimbursements, cash receipting/matching, and ensure accurate and timely bank reconciliations and daily payment processing.
- Reconcile major accounts e.g., credit cards, Telstra, TNT weekly/monthly and key journals in JDE for authorization.
- Support month-end close within 3 working days, assist with policy administration, and back up the finance team as needed.
- Identify and report risks, suggest process improvements, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Achieve monthly productivity targets and perform additional duties as directed by the Corporate Controller.
About youWe are interested in hearing from people who have:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably with client service exposure (inbound/outbound calls).
- Strong knowledge of general business, administrative practices, and computer accounting systems.
- Ability to work autonomously while knowing when to seek guidance.
- Excellent computer proficiency, communication, and time management skills.
- Capability to effectively deliver tasks and meet deadlines.
