Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and curious individual to join our Executive and Professional practice in Atlanta, GA as a Summer Intern. This 12-week paid internship offers a deep dive into the world of commercial underwriting.
You Will
- Learn how to evaluate and underwrite risk while gaining exposure to: Directors and Officers Liability (D&O), Errors & Omissions (E&O), Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Fiduciary Liability, Crime/Fidelity, and Cyber Insurance
- Gain exposure to the insurance lifecycle and the broader commercial market.
- Collaborate with experienced underwriters and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in real-world projects that impact our customers and business.
- Collaborate with BHSI Interns across North America.
You will be part of a dynamic and supportive underwriting team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Your work will directly contribute to protecting our clients’ assets and ensuring the profitability of our portfolio.

Qualifications
- Interest in insurance, underwriting, market trends or pursuing a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Accounting)

- Proficiency in math and comfortable with statistics, probability and financial principles
- Effective communicator and team player

The base salary range for this position in Atlanta is from $22/hour - $26/hour; a candidate’s salary is determined by their relevant skills and experience. We value our teammates – both their capabilities and character – as demonstrated by our amazing culture.
