What can you expect in this role?
- Perform needs analyses to ensure learning programs support business objectives
- Partner with leaders and SMEs to determine content requirements and delivery methods
- Identify the optimal content design and delivery approach to achieve learning objectives
- Design and develop self-paced and instructor-led training programs using instructional design best practices and e-learning creation tools (e.g., rapid authoring tools)
- Create training material, activities, and assessments that are aligned to business goals
- Validate and evaluate various training and development programs
What do you bring to this role?
- University degree or college diploma in a relevant discipline is considered an asset (e.g., Adult Education, Instructional Design, or Technical Writing / Communications)
- Minimum 2-3 years of related experience in training design and development
- Experience designing and developing both e-learning and instructor-led training solutions
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems
- Proficiency in a variety of design and e-learning software packages (i.e. Articulate, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with team members and internal customers
- Ability to perform well in a busy environment and remain calm under pressure
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and an openness to feedback
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management, organization, and project management skills
- Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset
Salary range is $58,100 - $106,900
