Chubb is seeking an outstanding VP, Head of AI Platform to play a pivotal role in scaling Chubb’s AI capabilities, driving innovation, and delivering impactful solutions that redefine the insurance landscape and deliver AI platform to drive enterprise transformation through AI at a global scale.
As a VP, Head Of AI Platform, You Will
- Strategic Leadership and Vision: Define and execute a comprehensive, multi-year strategic vision for Chubb’s all-in-one AI platform, ensuring alignment with enterprise and product strategies to deliver transformative AI-driven solutions that enhance the insurance experience.
- AI Platform Development and Innovation: Oversee the architecture, development, and optimization of the AI platform, encompassing AI Agentic solutions, LLM-based applications, prompt engineering, MCP server management, and the full lifecycle of AI model development, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Team Building and Culture: Build and lead a high-performing, mission-driven team of AI experts, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, collaboration, and measurable outcomes.
- Scalable and Production-Grade Solutions: Drive the delivery of innovative, scalable, and production-grade AI solutions, ensuring the platform meets the highest standards of reliability, performance, and business impact.
- Technical Roadmap Execution: Lead executing technical roadmaps for AI model experimentation, training, deployment, and optimization, ensuring the platform evolves to meet emerging business needs and technological advancements.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as a key communication leader, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for business and executive stakeholders, while ensuring transparency and alignment across all organizational levels.

- Enterprise-Wide AI Vision: Define and champion the overarching vision for Chubb’s AI platform as a strategic enabler of business transformation, positioning the company as a global leader in AI-driven insurance innovation.
- Strategic Alignment: Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for the AI platform, ensuring alignment with Chubb’s enterprise strategy, product goals, and long-term business objectives, while anticipating future industry trends and disruptions.
- Industry Leadership: Identify and capitalize on emerging trends, risks, and opportunities in AI, LLMs, and related technologies, ensuring Chubb remains at the forefront of innovation in the insurance sector.
Leadership & Execution
- Executive Team Leadership: Build and lead a world-class, multidisciplinary leadership team across engineering, data science, and AI operations, empowering leaders to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions at scale.
- Organizational Transformation: Shape and influence organizational priorities by embedding AI capabilities across business units, ensuring the AI platform drives measurable outcomes and accelerates enterprise-wide digital transformation.
- Operational Strategy: Establish and oversee operational frameworks that ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, scalable AI solutions, balancing agility with long-term strategic goals.
Technical Excellence
- Platform Ownership: Provide executive oversight for the architecture, development, and optimization of Chubb’s AI platform, ensuring it delivers cutting-edge capabilities in LLMs, AI Agentic solutions, model lifecycle management, and monitoring systems.
- Innovation at Scale: Drive the development of scalable, production-grade AI solutions that meet the highest standards of reliability, security, and compliance, while addressing complex business challenges and unlocking new revenue opportunities.
- Technology Partnerships: Cultivate strategic partnerships with leading AI vendors, research institutions, and technology providers to accelerate innovation and expand the platform’s capabilities.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Excellent Communication and Influence: Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive and senior leaderships, articulating the strategic value of AI initiatives and ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical teams, data science teams and business leaders, ensuring AI solutions are effectively integrated into business processes and deliver tangible value across the organization.
- External Representation: Represent Chubb’s AI platform initiatives in industry forums, conferences, and client engagements, positioning the company as a thought leader in AI-driven insurance solutions.
Qualifications
- 10+ years on building new capabilities for the platform including but not limited to API Design, Development, Publishing, Consumption, Governance and Operations. Providing Full API Life cycle Management Platform for digital strategy as an effective API Platform Program across all global regions.
- 10+ years of building on platform solutions to enhance developer teams capabilities through a rich catalog tools cross frameworks cross platforms building autonomy and success in their customer projects
- Enhancing core and strategic company technologies by levering research and development of new disruptive technologies.
- Relentless Drive for Enterprise Impact: Demonstrated ability to lead transformative, enterprise-wide initiatives with a steadfast commitment to delivering world-class results, driving innovation, and achieving measurable business outcomes in high-growth, high-impact environments.

Preferred
- Proven Experience Scaling AI Teams in Regulated Industries: Extensive experience in building and scaling AI/ML teams within highly regulated industries such as insurance, finance, or healthcare, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while driving innovation and compliance.
- Leadership in Full-Stack Product Development and Scaling: Significant experience leading full-stack product development initiatives, including startup or scale-up environments, with a demonstrated ability to drive end-to-end innovation, scalability, and operational excellence in AI-powered solutions.
- Expertise in Responsible AI and Governance: Deep familiarity with InfoSec, privacy concerns, and ethical considerations specific to LLMs and AI technologies, with a proven ability to implement best practices for responsible AI development, deployment, and governance in alignment with regulatory and organizational standards.
