Job Description
The Senior Manager, Corporate Accounts will lead the consolidated corporate partnerships function across both Sonnet and Petline brands. This strategic role is responsible for overseeing all existing and future distribution partnerships, driving impactful growth, operational efficiency, and long-term partner value. The successful candidate will be a cross-functional leader, accountable for strategic recommendations, financial performance, and partner retention across a diverse portfolio.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Oversight
- Lead and manage the corporate accounts team across both direct-to-consumer brands in our Direct Channel – Sonnet & Petline.
- Active Strategic management of a combined 40+ corporate partnerships.
Partnership Growth & Distribution Strategy
- Launch new distribution partnerships with consistency and measurable impact.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, and other internal teams to enable successful partner onboarding and activation.
Partner Value Optimization & Retention
- Maximize the value extracted from each partnership through strategic engagement and performance tracking.
- Develop and execute retention strategies for high-potential partners.
- Make recommendations on partner growth, transformation, or exit strategies.
Financial Accountability
- Own and interpret the P&L for each partnership.
- Ensure financial performance aligns with original business cases and investment expectations.
- Monitor ROI and provide insights to senior leadership on partnership profitability.
Internal Enablement & Collaboration
- Identify internal enablers and blockers to partner success.
- Recommend operational or structural changes to support long-term growth.
- Foster a culture of collaboration across departments to support partnership success.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in strategic partnership management, business development, or corporate account leadership.
- Proven track record of managing complex partnerships and driving measurable outcomes.
- Strong financial acumen with experience interpreting P&L statements.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and executive leadership.
- Insurance or financial services experience is an asset.
Salary Range: $87,400 - $161,000
