The T&E Lead Consultant is responsible for developing and executing strategies that optimize supplier partnerships, negotiated rates, and parcel shipping programs. This role will partner with stakeholders across corporate functions to ensure cost efficiency, compliance, and enhanced employee experience through integrated travel, expense, corporate card/P-Card, and shipping solutions. The position requires strong negotiation skills, cross-functional collaboration, and governance oversight to deliver measurable financial and operational benefits. The ideal candidate will bring clarity to complex challenges, foster collaboration among diverse teams, and consistently deliver results that support and advance enterprise objectives.
Supplier Management
- Lead strategic negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable contracts, optimize pricing structures, and maximize rebates and cost savings.
- Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships through proactive engagement, performance monitoring, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to assess supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
- Implement compliance frameworks and governance standards to mitigate risk and uphold ethical sourcing practices.
- Drive innovation in supplier engagement by identifying opportunities for process optimization and leveraging technology for enhanced visibility.
Parcel Shipping Management
- Develop and execute carrier strategies, including contract negotiations, rate optimization, and rollout plans to achieve cost efficiency and service excellence.
- Ensure operational governance and regulatory compliance across all shipping activities, maintaining audit readiness and adherence to corporate policies.
- Monitor and control shipping budgets, implementing cost-reduction initiatives and tracking performance against financial targets.
Program Integration & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Enhance spend visibility and reporting maturity through centralized dashboards, advanced analytics, and actionable KPIs for leadership decision-making.
- Champion automation and system integration initiatives to drive efficiency, reduce manual processes, and improve data accuracy across platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, IT, and Human Resources to align strategies, ensure seamless program execution, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Problem Solving & Change Management
- Identify organizational challenges, develop clear problem statements, and lead efforts to design effective solutions.
- Streamline processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency across corporate functions.
- Articulate and implement change strategies across diverse stakeholder groups, fostering adoption and minimizing resistance.
- Act as a change agent and enabler, demonstrating the ability to influence and guide a large group of stakeholders toward compliance with corporate policy in a decentralized, locally empowered office environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field is preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in supplier management, procurement, project management, or operations is desired.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of compliance, governance, and audit standards.
- Experience in corporate travel and expense programs.
- Familiarity with parcel shipping technologies and carrier management.
