Gallagher Center of Excellence is seeking to hire a Data Analytics professional for the GCoE Business Enablement vertical.
You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.
You will manage the collection, processing, and analysis of data to support strategic initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
We are looking for someone who is very strong in MS Excel and Access, possesses good communication skills, and has a keen attention to detail.
Exposure to advanced analytics tools, data visualization techniques, and predictive modeling is a definite plus.
Your role will involve driving data excellence and innovation.
Additionally, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus within the analytics team.
You will interact with team members located in various regions across the globe.

Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis:
Researching data sources, market practice and other benchmarking information from published salary surveys through to internet searches.
Data analysis (primarily Excel based), including interpreting results and developing recommendations across pay benchmarking, gender pay gap reporting and equal pay auditing.
Data insight – translating data into valued findings and understandable information, which is accessible and useful to clients.
Effective presentation of findings - formatting data into clear, accessible graphs, tables and infographics.
Development and Design:
Providing input and evidence based advice in the development of pay progression systems and pay structures.
Cost modelling of different scenarios and similar impact assessments
Drafting documents in Excel, Word or PowerPoint to present options and recommendations to
clients.
Survey Management:
Gallagher runs a high quality UK benefits survey, which is published annually in October (250 participant organisations submitted data in 2019) and the job holder plays an important role in shaping design and continuous improvement of the survey, as well as encouraging participation.
Survey co-ordination – receiving, cleansing and checking inbound data and referring queries back to clients
Survey analyses - establishing findings, trend data and other insights and thereafter working with colleagues in Gallagher Communications to present those findings in a visual and impactful manner.
Survey development – helping design new surveys as well as supporting the growth of existing surveys.
Analysis of our annual Employee Communication Survey for Global Communication.
Supporting the build and analysis of employee communication survey.
Client Interaction:
Although the role will be primarily office based, there will be opportunities to attend client meetings,typically accompanied by a Senior Consultant, to:
Take the brief for a client or prospect’s consultancy requirements
Obtain the views of key stakeholders within the organisation e.g. in running focus groups
Writing or helping with the preparation of proposals for client work (either following a preliminary meeting or telephone and email contact with the client or in response to an invitation to tender)
Managing small benchmarking projects alone, albeit drawing on the close support of Consultants and Senior Consultants, as required.
Most small projects will be for new or existing clients and usually confined to telephone and/or email based contact with the client.
Reward Consulting team:
Supporting with Gender Pay Gap analysis and reporting for clients - this ranges from basic reports to deep dive analysis
Support with Pay Transparency projects which will also need some analytical support
Setting up spreadsheets for pay benchmarking and pay structures projects
Creating client facing calculation tools for variable pay projects
Analysis of the annual National Benchmarking Survey for the UK
EVP team:
Data Collection & Integration - Aggregate and clean data from multiple sources (HRIS, engagement surveys, compensation databases, external benchmarks).
Analytics & Modelling – Build/Review statistical models (e.g., regression, attrition prediction) to identify drivers of promotions, exits, and engagement ; Develop/review dashboards in tools like Power BI for real-time insights on attraction, retention, and workforce segmentation.
Reporting & Visualisation - Create clear, compelling reports and visualisations, including persona-based insights and EVP impact metrics.

common goals and ensure seamless data management
Process Improvement: Aptitude for identifying opportunities to enhance data accuracy and efficiency
and implementing innovative solutions.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and new challenges in a dynamic
work environment.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, maintaining organized
and up-to-date records and documentation.
Qualifications:
Minimum Required Degree: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Preferred Degree: Master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees can provide deeper expertise and a competitive edge in the field.
Certificate(s)/Special Training:
Certified Analytics Professional (CAP): A widely recognized certification that demonstrates expertise in the analytics process.
Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate: Validates skills in using MS Access, Power BI to maximize the value of data assets.
Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate: Provides foundational skills in data cleaning, analysis, and visualization.
Experience ( Career Level Guide)
- 6-9 years of experience in data analytics or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience in managing databases and conducting complex data analyses.
- Advanced expertise in data modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques.
- Proven track record of leading data-driven projects and providing strategic insights to support business decisions.
- Experience in managing teams, developing analytics strategies, and driving innovation in data processes.
- Strong ability to communicate insights to executive stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Statistical methods and advanced analysis e.g. regression and key driver analysis would be beneficial.
- Working with Databases and analysis specific packages such as R, SPSS, Python is added advantage.
Required Skills And Knowledge:
- Proven experience of working as a Reward Analyst, as experience matters as much as the quality of your excel
and wider analytical skills - Highly developed MS Office IT skills, but especially advanced level Excel sufficient to manipulate data to
obtain impactful insights and trend analyses - Numerate, with high attention to detail and an aptitude for systems and data management
- Administratively well organized, being a completer finisher with a considerable ability to prioritize tasks
- Resilient attitude, i.e. not easily blown off course by unpredictable work flows or tight timescales/deadlines
- A proactive “can do” attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile when required
- An inquisitive nature - interested in learning about different sectors, with the tenacity to research and mine
data - A responsive, client focused approach and the empathy to see the world from the client’s perspective
- The interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective working relationships with clients and persuade
prospective clients to participate in our surveys - Mature judgement, i.e. having sufficiently reliable insight into people and the workings of large organizations
to know the right things to do and say - Good written and oral presentation skills, sufficient to turn data into meaningful, easily accessible information
