Description
We are looking for our next cohort of summer interns to spend eight weeks making a genuine impact, expanding skill sets, and bringing fresh perspectives to our team. The Team
As an intern supporting our Bermuda-based operations, you will work at the intersection of our Legal and Claims functions, gaining a high-level overview of how a global (re)insurer protects its business and manages complex risks.
On the Legal side, you will assist with a broad and dynamic range of tasks, from supporting the drafting of agreements and contracts for Convex Re to helping prepare papers for board meetings. You will have the unique opportunity to observe how we provide strategic advice on corporate and commercial matters while ensuring we remain compliant with local regulatory governance.
Within the Claims team, you will dive into a forward-thinking, "leading-edge" environment focused on technical adjusting and relationship management. You will support the team in the end-to-end management of claims arising from business written by Convex Re, assisting with everything from the initial notification of loss to final settlement and coverage analysis.
This role is perfect for a detail-oriented problem-solver who wants to learn how to gather data, identify loss trends, and contribute to delivering a "best-in-class" service experience to our brokers and clients.
