IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for an AVP, Business Process Improvement from any of our IAT office locations. This position is responsible for detecting, developing, and implementing solutions for performance, outcomes, quality, efficiency, and customer experience improvement opportunities in the organization. Accountabilities include assisting in business process improvement and preparing proactive process solutions that maximize efficiencies. Furthermore, this role will work closely and collaboratively throughout the organization.
This role works a hybrid schedule from any of our IAT office locations. The hybrid schedule reflects our values (thinking and acting like an owner, collaboration, and teamwork) as it requires working from the office with colleagues and other disciplines Monday through Wednesday, with the option of working Thursday and Friday remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Establish a process improvement strategy to continuously improve and mature process, procedures, and training material across the organization. Partner with Business intelligence to create reports to support continuous improvement which includes, but is not limited to, operational reporting.
- Charged with identifying trends, detecting improvement opportunities, and developing practices, processes and strategies that deliver exceptional results.
- Communicate with other areas within IAT such as Underwriting or Finance to ensure transparency regarding developing claim trends.
- Leverage existing technology and other resources, to achieve greater efficiency and improved results.
- Accountable for monitoring the Claims performance through dashboards, quality audits, ad hoc analysis, benchmarking, and other methods as identified.
- Ensure claim handling strategy is effectively executed, driving file quality improvement.
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- JD Degree and 8 years of relevant experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic proficiency with standard office tools, systems, or job‑related technology
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills
- To qualify, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposes.
Preferred to Have:
- Experience communicating claim trends, strategy, and other performance metrics with executive leaders.
- Prior claim leadership.

Compensation:
Please note, that the annual gross salary range associated with this posting is $97,880 – $213,030. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and geographical location related to this specific role. The total compensation will include a base salary, performance-based bonus opportunities, 401(K) match, profit-sharing opportunities, and more.
