Role Summary
The Client Executive is responsible for developing, maintaining and managing a portfolio of strategic client relationships. This role ensures exceptional client satisfaction, drives account retention and profitability, and serves as a trusted advisor to executive level stakeholders. The Client Executive partners cross functionally to deliver program enhancements, address client needs and communication, support new business opportunities, and ensure successful onboarding and implementation of client programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Client Relationship Management
- Manage designated client portfolio to ensure service excellence, account retention, and profitable growth.
- Build and maintain strong, multi‑level client relationships, serving as a strategic partner and primary point of contact.
- Represent the organization in client‑facing engagements, including executive meetings, presentations, and business development events, in alignment with assigned territory budgets.
Strategic Account Oversight
- Conduct data‑driven reviews of client and territory profitability, identifying trends and recommending program adjustments.
- Lead Annual Program Reviews, presenting insights and actionable recommendations to enhance performance and client satisfaction.
- Meet regularly with client stakeholders to discuss operational needs and overall program health.
- Clearly communicate company programs, value propositions, and competitive differentiators to clients and prospects.
Program Implementation & Client Support
- Facilitate the full onboarding and implementation process for new accounts, ensuring a smooth transition and successful launch.
- Deliver comprehensive client training to support accurate program administration and compliance.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date client profiles, documentation, and activity records within the CRM system.
- Facilitate handling of client needs and requests, manage all maintenance and changes to program including data exchange and underwriting if needed.
Business Development Collaboration
- Support sales teams in pursuing and securing new business opportunities, including attending meetings, participating in presentations, and advising on client strategy.
- Identify opportunities to cross‑sell additional company products or services that support client needs.
Additional Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between clients and internal departments to resolve issues and ensure efficient communication.
- Make informed decisions that align with company goals, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Protect the confidentiality of sensitive internal and external information.
- Demonstrate consistent professionalism, reliability, and strong follow‑through on all commitments.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience.
- Five (5) years of experience in relationship management or at least three (3) years financial institution lending management or equivalent experience.
- Good understanding of credit union lending and collection processes and practices preferred
- Must reside in the Pacific time zone.
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overnight and occasional weekend travel.
- Familiarity with Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI), Property & Casualty Insurance, and/or financial institution operations preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, including face-to-face, written communication, and active listening abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain exceptional relationship at all levels of the organization
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills with executive‑level contacts.
- Proven ability to deliver high‑quality presentations and facilitate client discussions.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including financial analysis and performance forecasting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
- Highly organized with strong planning and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective time management and prioritization under tight deadlines.
- Self‑motivated, driven, and able to operate independently with minimal supervision and high level of accountability.
The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. The salary for the position is $115,000 - $130,000 with a 15% bonus potential.
