The Financial Planning & Analysis Consultant will apply comprehensive knowledge of business performance drivers of financial risk and return to identify areas for improvement. This individual will work closely with Decision Support teams, the Enterprise Project Portfolio Office (EPPO), and the Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO) to help demonstrate the impacts of business transformation to the enterprise. This individual ensures business decisions are grounded in sound and balanced financial analysis, demonstrating an ability to deeply understand the business area. This individual will work closely with corporate business partners to support the financial analysis required for decision making and benefits realization.
How you will create impact:
- Evaluate financial condition and create complex financial models for budgets, forecasts, and multi-year plans.
- Support the development of financial business cases that incorporate an understanding of constraints and potential scenarios.
- Support the creation of benefit realization models and identification of metrics driving performance variances, working with the appropriate teams to communicate and highlight implications.
- Enhance internal partnerships to create innovative solutions to translate business roadmap into opportunities sizes.
- Understand financial implications during roadmap planning discussions.
- Work alongside EPPO to develop funding requests in line with enterprise prioritization frameworks.
- Research best practices and analyze competitive, economic, and regulatory environment to identify complex issues and advantages.
- Research appropriate financial management tools and analytic techniques that assist in achieving financial objectives.
- Recommends short-term and long-term solutions for improved performance through the delivery of effective presentations to business partners.

To join our team:
- University degree in Business/finance/accounting, or related discipline.
- You have 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or in a related field.
- Having or working towards professional accounting designation or appropriate professional qualifications (CA, CMA, CBV or MBA) is an asset.
- Working knowledge in strategic financial analysis.
- Proven ability to collaborate with business partners and provide financial analysis.
- Ability to influence decision making.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead and manage change.

- This position will operate on a hybrid work posture which will require an in-office presence of at least twice a week.

Expected salary/hourly range $72,847 - $121,411
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Sovereign in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.”
Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
