KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide constant support to groups and brokers by reconciling billing, enrollment, and benefit issues, troubleshooting all questions/concerns, documenting issues/potential problems in system, and keeping management advised of any potential problems.
Research and respond to customer questions.
Facilitate all enrollment changes (additions, terminations, coverage changes, etc.) which may require interaction and approval from the carrier and verification in carrier systems.
Develop and maintains client relationship with administrators and carriers through inbound and outbound calls.
Maintain appropriate records, files and documentation.
Audit and maintain files, verifying insured and coverage, and proactively identifies possible issues.
Pro-active ‘Welcome Cards’ and communication of Online Benefits Management System.
Keep up to date on all Company’s policies and promotional offerings.
Actively participates in regular team meetings, providing input to contribute to the team’s overall success in achieving customer satisfaction.
Physical requirements include sitting, frequently speaking and hearing, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, crawling, kneeling and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Call Center/Customer Service environment in the healthcare/insurance field.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
Strong working knowledge of health insurance guidelines and benefits.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook Exchange; proficient with web browsers
Communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work in an environment with heavy phone-based customer interaction.
Excellent phone etiquette.
Demonstrated ability in proactive problem solving and problem prevention.
Work in and contribute to a positive team environment.
Complete tasks on time while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
The annual base salary for this position is $45760.00 - $55,000.00.
