Position Summary

What will your job entail?
Key Responsibilities
Broker and Market Support
- Work with assigned brokers to market Ryan Specialty’s eRisk insurance products.
- Support underwriting goals, including production, profitability, and financial targets.
- Communicate broker feedback, market concerns, and new opportunities to leadership.
Underwriting and Policy Processing
- Ensure all policy transactions—quotes, new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations—are rated, booked, invoiced, and issued accurately within service standards.
- Generate quote letters and binder letters for Cyber, Tech E&O, and related eRisk products.
- Prepare and issue policies for the eRisk department.
- Manage in‑force accounts and provide ongoing policy servicing.
Communication and Coordination
- Communicate with brokers, producers, Accounting, and Marketing to answer policy questions and resolve issues.
- Obtain missing information needed to complete transactions.
- Contribute to excellent service by responding promptly to inquiries about policy status or underwriting needs.
Systems, Quality, and Documentation
- Electronically print and upload documents into the imaging system, following labeling protocols.
- Assist with the quality review of underwriting processes, procedures, and transactions.
- Work with system support teams to test system releases and verify functionality in production environments.
- Continuously develop knowledge and skills related to underwriting and eRisk products.
Additional Duties
- Support product development and enhancement efforts.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 6+ years of relevant insurance or underwriting experience, preferably with Cyber or Tech E&O products.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of cyber insurance and technology E&O products.
- Strong analytical abilities and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and web‑based systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong math skills for rating and analysis.
Professional Skills
- Self‑directed and highly organized.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to follow departmental guidelines, authority levels, and risk management controls.

The target salary range for this position is $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
