As a Claims Advocate Associate, you will embark on an exciting journey of professional development, with the first year dedicated to comprehensive training and hands-on learning. During this time, you will gain the foundational knowledge and skills needed to excel in your role, with the support of experienced mentors and a collaborative team. Over the course of 12 months, you will grow into the responsibilities of the role, gradually building your expertise in supporting clients through complex claims processes and delivering tailored solutions. You will learn to act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on coverage and claims issues for large and complex cases, while mastering the ability to oversee and document all claim-related activities with accuracy and transparency. Through training and real-world experience, you will develop the confidence to collaborate with clients and brokers, address claims challenges, and facilitate client meetings and claims reviews to align on strategies and action plans. As you refine your negotiation skills, you will become adept at advocating for positive client outcomes by influencing reserve changes and claim resolutions. Additionally, you will learn to research and gather claims information from clients and carriers, ensuring timely and accurate communication with all stakeholders. By the end of your first year, you will have the tools and knowledge to analyze problematic or complex claims and develop strategies to achieve favorable resolutions, making a meaningful impact on the claims process and client satisfaction while advancing your career at Gallagher.

- Excellent written and verbal communication for engaging with prospects, clients, and colleagues; ability to build credibility with senior executives and collaborate effectively in teams.
- Independent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, self-starter attitude with a proactive approach to responsibility.
- Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task with attention to detail and time management to meet deadlines.
- Action-oriented with resilience, entrepreneurial spirit, competitive nature, strong work ethic, and a coachable, curious mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); complete industry licensing exam within 90 days of starting, as applicable
- Bachelor’s Degree required; internship or prior work experience preferred.
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
