This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity where you’ll lead the planning and delivery of internal communications and engagement activity across multiple audiences, ensuring colleagues receive the right information, at the right time, in the right way.You’ll shape and evolve the overall deployment communications strategy, while taking specific ownership of a key data reporting workstream, which will form a significant proportion of your focus. Working closely with Programme Leads, senior stakeholders and the wider Internal Communications team, you’ll design structured, strategic communication plans that drive clarity, engagement and successful adoption of change.You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive internal communications plans, mapping audiences and determining who needs to know what and when. From engaging senior leaders and programme stakeholders to delivering clear, practical communications to end users about what’s changing and what it means for them, you’ll ensure messaging is aligned, consistent and impactful.Using a range of communication channels including digital platforms, enterprise social media and traditional methods, you’ll tailor content to different audiences and continuously review effectiveness. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to programme stakeholders, influencing approach, shaping engagement activity and maintaining strong relationships across the business.Alongside your work on the data reporting workstream, you’ll contribute to the wider programme communications strategy, helping to support and evolve how we engage colleagues throughout the transformation journey.This role is field based with travel required every quarter to collaborate in person at one of our Regional Service Centres (Belfast, Glasgow, York, Bristol) or our Head Office in Stratford Upon Avon.This is an exciting opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, playing a visible role in supporting change across NFU Mutual.About youYou’ll be an experienced internal communications professional who thrives in complex programme environments, ideally within General Insurance or Financial Services. Comfortable operating both strategically and operationally, you’ll know how to design structured communications plans that cut through complexity and support successful change delivery in a regulated environment.You’ll bring credibility, confidence and strong judgement, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail and pace. Resilient and highly organised, you’ll be comfortable balancing competing priorities and influencing at all levels of the organisation.Proven experience developing and delivering internal communications strategy and planning, including within change or transformation programmesStrong background in change communications management (preferably complex data changes) and delivering messaging across multiple channels.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and confidently to varied audiences.Demonstrable stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build personal credibility and manage senior relationships effectively.Strong strategic thinking, prioritisation, attention to detail and resilience, maintaining quality and momentum in a fast-paced programme environment.At NFU Mutual, we support an inclusive workplace and value all the differences that make us unique.
