The Team
Our Catastrophic Personal Injury and Large Loss team covers every aspect of a claim, including liability investigations, policy coverage assessments, quantum assessments for all levels of Multi-Track claims. You will be working for leading insurer, corporate, and public body clients, with fantastic opportunities to develop your own client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team within our multi-award-winning firm.
We have a collaborative, supportive team working in a modern, flexible environment. You will be assisting experienced partners with complex, high value, and sensitive claims, as well handling your own case load. The team handles a range of claims for a variety of clients. This includes motor, EL, PL, and abuse claims as well as public law actions, particularly Judicial Reviews.
The Role
Your role will involve assisting our lawyers and Partners with all aspects of the day to day management of claims, everything from assisting with liability enquiries, obtaining and reviewing medical records and reports, drafting witness statements, preparing instructions to Experts and Counsel, preparing Counsel/Court bundles and any general admin duties.
Essential Skills & Experience
Applicants must have excellent communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines. Although not essential, knowledge of the litigation process would be useful. Previous experience in a similar legal setting is required.
