JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
Build and continuously improve standardized dashboards and reporting for the technology organization—delivering clear visibility into spend, operational performance, and improvement opportunities using established tools and templates.
Own core IT financial management rhythms, including budget tracking, forecast support, accrual monitoring, and monthly/quarterly leadership reporting—partnering closely with Finance and IT leaders to drive accountability.
Support vendor and partner governance by tracking performance and service levels, producing value and spend insights, and preparing materials for vendor reviews—helping strengthen accountability, transparency, and agreement adherence.
Drive objective, KPI, and outcome tracking across the technology organization by maintaining performance documentation and enabling regular, data-driven updates—making progress, risks, and results visible and unambiguous.
Build strong, trust-based relationships across IT, Finance, and business partners to advance operational excellence, resolve issues quickly, and accelerate decision-making with fact-based insights.
Operate as a high-impact individual contributor—taking initiative, bringing structure to ambiguity, and delivering results through influence in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
May perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Exceptional communication and relationship skills—able to partner with and influence stakeholders at all levels in a team and matrix environment.
Strong IT financial management capability, including budgeting, forecasting, accruals, variance analysis, and executive-ready financial reporting.
Hands-on experience supporting vendor governance (e.g., SLAs, scorecards, QBRs), tracking spend and value, and enabling fact-based discussions that improve performance and accountability.
High integrity and professionalism with a strong sense of financial stewardship and accountability.
Analytical, strategic problem-solver who turns data into decisions—defining metrics, surfacing drivers, and closing gaps to deliver measurable outcomes.
Knowledge of the insurance industry, its products and services, and how technology investments enable business outcomes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and business reporting tools to build clear, accurate, decision-ready insights.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business disciplines – Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.
Typically a minimum of 7 years work experience, preferably in the insurance industry. Preferably in Organization support functions

The base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $125,000, complemented by a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to help our employees – and their family members – achieve their physical, financial, emotional, and social wellbeing goals. Base salary determinations are based on various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
