Purpose & Accountability Assist with delivery of TMK’s Claims functions and Claims-related data requirements. Provide support and assist to deliver TMK’s Business Plan through effective management of claims matters arising from our portfolios and book of business. Develop internal and external relationships. Principal Accountabilities The role includes responsibility for: Supporting the claims team to ensure an effective, well-managed and compliant department, in line with defined processes and procedures. Setting up new claims files using internal claims systems. Production and circulation of regular and ad-hoc reports. Reviewing claims files, compiling and processing claims bordereaux/statements. Management and maintenance of centralised claims data, with the ability to understand, review and analyse the various outputs. Deliver effective Claims services to support and develop business objectives, including various administrative duties. Liaise with Underwriters to ensure they remain briefed on Claims both at an individual level and as a wider portfolio. To have a clear understanding of the company's risk appetites in terms of Delegated Authority, Conduct Risk and Financial Crime. Ensuring fair customer outcomes and commerciality when decision making. Technical Capabilities Basic claims understanding and background. A pro-active, self-starter who is well organised. Enthusiastic team player. A statistical/analytical nature. Ability to understand key systems and processes. Aptitude to review and analyse data. Clear and effective technical communication skills. Proficient Language skills Competent in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and other business systems. Additional Information Ability to work to strict deadlines. Successful candidate to provide support to other members of staff, wider Team/s and take ownership of specific issues when required.
