Kevin Davis Insurance Services (an Amwins company) is seeking a Sr. Underwriter to join. The focus is on underwriting for the HOA/Condo Association space.

Remote or hybrid. If hybrid (2-3 days in-office) based in Los Angeles CA.
Job Duties:
- Providing leadership and underwriting, profitability, growth, and retention of new and renewal business that is consistent with assigned goals within the assigned territory.
- Responsible for the over authority requests and higher limits of authority for NB and Renewals.
- Proactively seek to collaborate closely with agents by demonstrating the ability to build partnerships and deliver solutions. Maintain an understanding of KDIS products, services, and solutions. Maintains consistent exemplary audit results.
- Ensures underwriting quality and profitability by using their knowledge and experience of underwriting protocols, rules, and regulations and for insuring compliance with underwriting strategies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of underwriting experience in underwriting in the HOA/Condo Association industry.
- P&C license in the state of residence is required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Advanced knowledge of professional liability coverage forms, endorsements, exclusions, and manuscript word
Pursuant to California regulation, the compensation range for this position is as stated and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
California Pay Range: $75,000 USD - $95,000 USD
