La personne retenue sera responsable d’enquêter, d’évaluer, de négocier et de régler des réclamations par téléphone.

We are currently hiring a Desk Adjuster 2 to join our team remotley in Atlantic, Canada. The successful candidate will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims by telephone and correspondence. The candidate will settle losses within delegated authority or reporting to clients while also directing field adjusters on a task basis.
Responsibilities
- Enquête, collecte et analyse des informations relatives aux réclamations
- Entrevues téléphoniques avec les réclamants et les témoins
- Évaluation de la couverture, de la responsabilité et du montant des dommages
- Négociation, règlement et finalisation des réclamations
- Saisie, suivi et présentation précis des dossiers
- Maintien de dossiers exacts concernant la facturation, le temps et les dépenses
- Collaboration avec le gestionnaire afin de maintenir de bonnes relations avec les clients

- Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information
- Telephone interviewing claimants and witnesses
- Evaluates coverage, liability and quantum
- Negotiates, settles, finalizes claims
- Accurate recording, reporting and presentation of file
- Maintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense record
- Work with manager to maintain client relations
Qualifications
- Minimum de 3 à 5 ans d’expérience fonctionnelle et technique dans un environnement d’assurance
- Maîtrise professionnelle complète du français et de l’anglais
- Formation postsecondaire dans un domaine lié à l’assurance (un atout)
- En voie d’obtenir la désignation PAA/CIP
- Détenir un permis probatoire ou être en voie de l’obtenir
- Connaissance dans le traitement des réclamations automobiles, responsabilité civile, personnelles et commerciales
- Excellentes compétences en organisation, communication et rédaction
- Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et efficace, avec une forte motivation et d’excellentes aptitudes en résolution de problèmes

- At least 3-5 years of functional/technical experience in an insurance environment
- Full professional bilingual proficiency in French and English
- Post-secondary education in an insurance related field is an asset
- Working towards CIP Designation
- Has a Probationary License or is working towards one
- Knowledge in handling auto, casualty, personal, and commercial claims
- Organized and strong communication/writing skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, demonstrating self-motivation and strong problem-solving skills.
