Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) have an exciting opportunity for an Underwriter - Innovation to join our market-leading Innovation team, helping to shape the future of insurance. This role isn’t just about underwriting, it’s about challenging convention, building new products, and exploring emerging risks across areas such as AI, IoT, parametric solutions, crypto, and carbon markets. As such, although we need someone who understands London market insurance, we don’t require underwriting experience. The Role Reporting to the Divisional Head of Innovation and Portfolio Underwriting, you will: Develop and bring to market new insurance products across emerging and specialty lines Collaborate with brokers, coverholders, and innovation partners across the Lloyd’s ecosystem Help shape underwriting strategy and drive portfolio performance Build your market profile and contribute to thought leadership in a fast-evolving space Over time, you’ll take on ownership of innovation portfolio performance and P&L. What We’re Looking For Demonstrable experience in the Lloyd’s market Strong understanding of insurance fundamentals (underwriting experience not essential) A curious, entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo Resilience, creativity, and strong stakeholder management skills Why Join?
