This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of our business and make a real impact as we set the stage for ambitious growth.As a Process Standards Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Process Standards Manager and the wider Process Centre of Excellence (PCoE). Your work will help ensure NFU Mutual maintains a consistent, compliant and customer‑centric approach to process design. You’ll help maintain and update the centralised process design methodology, ensuring that documentation reflects best practice, regulatory requirements and business needs. You’ll promote core process principles such as scalability, consistency and customer‑centricity across process documentation and business initiatives — supporting standardisation and an improved user experience.You’ll also coordinate documentation for governance forums, including CoE Steering Committees, ensuring materials are clear, high‑quality, accurate and security‑compliant. As part of your role, you’ll support the administration and maintenance of design tooling, provide user guidance, and help keep key CoE assets — such as the Playbook, GI Process Catalogue, taxonomy, naming conventions and version control — up to date and accessible.Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll help promote process standards, support the development of training materials, maintain communication channels and monitor industry trends to support innovation, emerging methodologies and best practice. You may also contribute to integration standards across platforms and support one‑off projects aligned to business needs.About youYou’re process‑minded, detail‑focused and passionate about creating clear, practical documentation that supports consistent ways of working. You enjoy helping others understand process methodology and take pride in producing clear, consistent materials that support strong governance.You bring:- Experience in business administration or process documentation. - Proficiency in process modelling tools. - An understanding of governance, control, review cycles and quality checks. - A structured, detail‑focused approach to documentation. - Strong communication and stakeholder engagement and confident questioning skills. - An organised, resilient and self‑managed approach to work; able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. - A practical continuous improvement mindset. - A proactive interest in emerging methodologies, tools and trends in process design. - A degree in Business Operations or a related field is desirable, as is a certification in Lean Six Sigma, BPMN, business analysis, quality or audit. - Experience in insurance, financial services or another regulated environment is desirable.
