As part of its long-term strategy to modernise, grow and evolve the way we serve our customers, NFU Mutual is investing in the future of its Agency Network, and this Business Improvement Consultant role will be key to supporting this strategy.In this hands-on Business Improvement Consultant role, you’ll work directly with self-employed Agents and agency leadership teams to understand how their businesses operate, where challenges exist and where there is scope to improve. Acting as a trusted adviser, you’ll help identify opportunities to strengthen commercial performance, customer outcomes and operational effectiveness. It’s a genuinely varied role, with your work ranging from reviewing operating models and growth strategies to facilitating workshops, leading improvement activity and influencing senior stakeholders to embed meaningful, sustainable change. This is a fully home-based role, with travel across a designated region and typically 1–2 days per week spent working directly with agencies. You’ll have significant autonomy to manage your own diary, while building strong relationships with Agents and agency leadership teams.You’ll also be part of a close-knit commercial development team, with strong peer support and opportunities to contribute to national projects that shape and support best practice across the NFU Mutual Agency Network.This Business Improvement Consultant role is known internally as an Agency Network Business Consultant.About youYou’re commercially minded, curious and confident working with complexity.
