We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Actuary to join our dynamic PRT pricing team in the Institutional Division at Pacific Life.
• This role is hybrid. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office, whether they are based in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE.
The Institutional Division is a fast-growing and innovative segment of our company, offering exciting opportunities to drive profitability, enhance the pricing process, and build a stronger foundation for future success. This role encourages strategic thinking and creative problem-solving, with a focus on developing scalable, easy-to-understand solutions to complex challenges.
As a Senior Actuary, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) business. We are looking for a collaborative team player who is skilled at managing stakeholder expectations and prioritizing the team’s success.
How you’ll help move us forward:
Stakeholder Engagement: Present, justify, and defend pricing outcomes and/or internal projects to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and transparent communication.
Intuitive Technical Solutions: Ensure that pricing processes, tools, and technical solutions are clear, understandable, and accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The experience you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$163,620.00 - $199,980.00
