About the team and the job:
The successful candidate will be exposed to all areas of the business working directly with senior members of the Corporate, Advisory & Solutions team and other cross functional teams on reinsurance programs and other opportunities placed out of our North America offices. Our graduates have the exciting opportunity to participate in an enriching training program comprised of both internal and external trainings covering all facets of the business.
How you'll contribute:
Core Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of capital and earnings models for the current clients and prospects, including support to the Rating Agency & Investor Relations service provided by ARCAS;
- Market and peer group analysis for ratings, capital raising, and M&A purposes.
- Provide support for the preparation of Acrisure Re's Corporate Advisory Solutions' publications and presentations.
- Ratings Advisory: potential to assume a more senior role over time in providing holistic ratings advisory to clients and prospects, beyond the capital adequacy model maintenance.
- Research: development of expertise to initiate and maintain investment analysis of capital issuers, including a possibility to become a securities analyst if and when such service is offered by the Corporate Advisory & Solution team.
- Investment Banking: An opportunity to participate in the primary capital raising and M&A transactions, once appropriate regulatory licenses are obtained.
- International travel with the team, as required, to meet with senior leadership, clients and relevant team members.
Requirements:
Essential requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, and in particular MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Familiarity with the AM Best BCAR,RBC, or other rating agency capital models is highly advantageous
- Some knowledge of the US insurance statutory accounting and/or insurance industry fundamentals is highly advantage
