Position Summary
The Actuarial Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing financial risks using mathematics, statistics, and financial theory. This position supports the actuarial team in developing and implementing models to predict future events and assess the financial impact of risk and uncertainty. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively are essential for success in this role.
What will your job entail?
Job Responsibilities:
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and patterns that impact financial risk.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of actuarial models to forecast future events and financial outcomes.
• Evaluate the financial implications of various risk scenarios and provide recommendations to mitigate potential losses.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Ensure all actuarial practices comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Work closely with other departments, such as finance, underwriting, and product development, to support business objectives.
• Conduct research on market trends and industry developments to inform actuarial assumptions and models.
• Maintain thorough documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and processes used in actuarial analyses.
• Utilize actuarial software and tools to perform complex calculations and analyses.
• Stay current with advancements in actuarial science and continuously improve technical skills through ongoing education and training.
Work Experience and Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field with 6 months to a year of related experience.
Licenses & Certifications:
· Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS), Certification in Risk Management and Assurance (CRMA) or Member of American Academy of Actuaries (AAA) is preferred.

The target salary range for this position is - annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
