Position Summary
Ryan Specialty is seeking a Senior Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist to ensure successful adoption of change initiatives. This role involves creating and implementing change management plans to maximize adoption and minimize resistance, driving faster adoption, higher utilization, and proficiency with assigned projects.
What will your job entail?
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management plans, including Change Impact Assessments, Communication Plans, and Learning Journey Needs Assessments.
- Conduct readiness and resistance assessments using surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
- Partner with project teams and business sponsors to align changes with business needs and goals.
- Coach and influence stakeholders to lead change management within the organization.
- Track and measure adoption, utilization, and proficiency of users to ensure successful change implementation.
- Support strategies and contribute to creative, strategic campaigns that motivate employees.
- Apply Ryan Specialty's structured methodology to deliver change management activities.
- Identify potential areas of resistance and draft mitigation approaches.
- Develop change management plans outlining schedules and deliverables to support effective sponsorship and higher employee engagement.
- Conduct learning journey needs assessments by role and provide recommendations for developing and delivering learning objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of OCM experience.
- Certification in Prosci® methodology a plus.
- Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) a plus.
- Insurance experience strongly preferred.
- Consulting experience preferred.
- Experience in insurance processes and Workday/ERP system implementation desired.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Keen emotional intelligence and strong storytelling skills.
Location and Travel:
Based in Chicago, Illinois. Remote work considered. Periodic local travel required, with occasional non-local/overnight travel.

The target salary range for this position is $128,000.00 - $160,000.00 annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
