Job Description
The Presentation Designer is a member of the Global Technology COO organization. As a Presentation Designer, you will play a crucial role in crafting engaging and impactful executive presentations that effectively convey our ideas and strategies through coherent writing, charts, and visual content. You will work closely with the COO and cross-functional teams to transform complex information into visually appealing and easy-to-understand slides and graphics. Your creativity and attention to detail will ensure that our presentations resonate with stakeholders and clients alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal Technology and COO to understand presentation goals and audience needs.
- Design and develop visually engaging PowerPoint presentations, infographics, and other visual content.
- Translate complex wording into pithy, coherent, executive-ready statements.
- Build bar charts and other chart styles using data and identify basic inconsistencies in provided data.
- Recognize when bullets, charts, or infographics are most appropriate to translate complex concepts
- Transform ideas and concepts into clear, compelling visuals that enhance communication and engagement.
- Maintain brand consistency across all presentation materials, adhering to established style guidelines.
- Edit and revise presentations based on feedback to ensure clarity and impact.
- Stay current with design trends and tools to continuously improve presentation quality.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Provide guidance and best practices on effective presentation techniques and visual storytelling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, English, or a related field.
- Exceptional writing skills; able to write clear, coherent, executive-ready bullets.
- Proven experience as a Presentation Designer or in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or marketing environment.
- Proficient in presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides) and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of presentation design work and visual storytelling skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and layout.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with animation and multimedia content for presentations.
- Familiarity with data visualization and techniques for presenting complex information.
- Understanding of branding principles and how they apply to presentation design.
The pay range for the role is $62,000 to $105,800. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
