The Business Analyst reports to the Vice President, Administration. The position is responsible for supporting the various administration functions through the identification and implementation of technical solutions. The incumbent will use their strong analytical and coding skills to provide technical support for RMA’s in house administration system. By liaising with Administration management, teammates and other stakeholders, the incumbent will perform process analysis, articulate solution requirements, and ensure final solutions are implemented successfully.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide technical support to the Administration team by identifying and implementing automated process improvements.
- Build and maintain various queries and tables through SQL, VBA and/or Python.
- Gain a solid understanding of the Administration system architecture; how business is maintained in back-end tables, and understanding and maintaining stored procedure code, etc.
- Drive process-oriented discussions, to investigate business and/or systems issues and inefficiencies.
- Communicate analysis and results to various stakeholders and management.
- Develop business requirements and traceability documents using Microsoft Office or other industry standard tools.
- Develop an understanding of business processes as they relate to operations.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Post-secondary undergraduate degree, preferably in a business, mathematics, statistics, or computer science program.
- Two years’ experience in a business process analysis role.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Advanced level of knowledge in Excel and/or Access.
- Strong demonstrated experience with SQL, VBA, R/Python.
- Able to juggle multiple tasks with multiple stakeholders and across several projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and concise communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
- Strong process analysis skills and comfortable asking probing questions, challenging the status-quo, and identifying areas for automation.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to understand and synthesize business issues and information quickly.
