We have the opportunity for a
Delegated Authority Analyst to join our
Delegated Authority department here at Tokio Marine Kiln. You will report to the Senior Delegated Authority Analyst and will be responsible for managing the approval of new Delegated Authority relationships (Coverholder’s and DCA’s) and ensuring that TMK’s and Lloyd’s Coverholder Standards are met.
The role includes responsibilities for:
- Managing, administering, and conducting the due diligence process for existing Coverholders and DCA’s.
- Managing the process for New Coverholders from initial notification of the opportunity through to gaining internal and Lloyd’s approval.
- Conducting contract reviews, to ensure the contract meets TMK standards and has the appropriate clauses for the business to be written. Contracts include Binding Authority Agreements, Lineslips, and Consortiums.
- Communicating developments in delegated authority business to the appropriate stakeholders within and outside of the business.
- Administering run-off procedures when a binding authority comes to an end.
- Representing DA as appropriate on internal working groups.
- Representing TMK as appropriate on market forums.
- Providing exception and any ad-hoc reports as and when required.
The successful candidate will have appropriate knowledge of Lloyd's market, and Delegated Authorities. A process driven mindset and strong communication and relationship building skills are essential for this role. We are looking for someone who has a clear understanding of the company's risk appetites in terms of delegated authority, conduct and financial crime.
