Position Summary
The Manager, University and Early Talent Recruiting is responsible for developing and implementing strategic recruitment plans to attract top talent from colleges and universities. As the early talent recruiting SME for Ryan Specialty, this role involves building strong relationships within the businesses, as well as with student organizations and academic institutions, organizing recruitment events, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
What will your job entail?
- Develop Recruitment Strategies: Create and execute tailored recruitment plans targeting high-potential students at colleges and universities.
- Event Coordination: Plan, schedule, and attend recruitment events, career fairs, and campus visits.
- Presentations: Conduct presentations on company opportunities and job requirements at colleges and universities.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with university career services, professors, and student organizations.
- Candidate Screening: Review resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate further interviews with company management.
- Onboarding: Assist with onboarding procedures to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the company.
- Marketing Materials: Develop recruitment materials (print, web, multimedia) to promote Ryan Specialty's career opportunities.
- Data Management: Maintain records of all interactions with candidates and track their progress through the recruitment process.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in education policies, admission processes, and changes in scholarship programs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in a college or university setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in using recruitment software and social media platforms.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to various colleges and universities for recruitment events.

The target salary range for this position is $92,000.00 - $115,000.00 annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
