JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator provides first line support to employees and leaders in the applicable insurance entity. Provides timely and accurate assistance with HR related inquiries regarding HR policies and programs and provides Workday support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
- Provides human resources support to leaders and employees within the insurance entity by assisting with HR inquiries in a timely and accurate manner. Assist managers and employees with questions around payroll, benefits, compensation, time off and leaves of absence and other areas. Escalate matters to HRBP’s or TIH HR Centers of Excellence when necessary.
- Supports the HRBP team by assisting with inquires, Workday changes, reporting, and projects.
- Pulls and compiles HR & Workday reporting.
- Assist leaders and employees with Workday questions on making employee changes, navigating Workday and general Workday support.
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related experience
- Three years of demonstrated experience using principles, practices, and/or methodologies associated with the Human Resources discipline.
- Experience working in the insurance industry
- Experience using Workday

- Excellent organization, prioritization, and management skills; ability to respond to changing priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service abilities to provide quick responsiveness and accurate information to leaders and employees.
- Demonstrate sound judgment when responding to requests for data and/or sharing of data and information
- Strong analytical capability with proven success in managing large quantities of confidential data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s HR policies and programs, organizational structure, jobs,
- Possess advanced proficiency and demonstrate the ability to develop reports and presentations leveraging advanced Word, PowerPoint, Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, charts and graphs)
